All the information in this wiki is fictional. See 1632-Wiki:Overview for reference.

So to not puzzle the normal internet user, the information may not show up in google. Thus the wiki requires you to create an account. You need only a user name and a password, nothing else.

If you create a new account, you might use the same username as in http://bar.baen.com, so your fellow barflies can identify you easier.

Welcome to the 1632-Wiki.

Introduction

This wiki is dedicated to developments in the fictional world of the books called The 1632 Series. This world is also called the 1632-verse for short.

While only developments described in the books and in the Grantville Gazette are considered canonical, this wiki is targeted to be a fast reference for authors and readers.

If you discover any differences between facts in this wiki or in one of the aforementioned publications, these are always considered the Ultimate Truth (TM). Go ahead and change the wiki article; add a reference to the publication.

Rules

The normal wiki rules apply.

At the moment we are gathering topics and information. So: If you think there should be an article about <insert your private pet topic here>, go ahead. Enter the title in the search box, click on "Go" and then click on "create new page".

There are no templates yet, so you can copy the structure of the Railroad article as an example. (or write a template).

Add as much information as you like; please tag all canonical developments with the story or chapter as seen in the Airplane article.
